As a carrier of Chinese characters, the bamboo slips have influenced the development of Chinese culture as a whole.

I have summarised the relationship between the bamboo slips as 'man - character - slips' and applied it to the spatial experience of the exhibition. Secondly, the installation provides a scale of observation that goes beyond the everyday details.

In this exhibition, the emphasis is on a strategy of returning to the object, establishing a way for users to read the bamboo slips on multiple levels, and bringing people back into the narrative they carry.

Strategy

Slips as quality, words as body, people as line.

The overall strategy is based on the three elements of bamboo slips, with bamboo as the material of the space, individual text messages as the body, and the audience as the thread to link the various exhibition areas.

Exhibition Area 1

- Han dynasty simple documents

The opening sequence uses sand as the main element to introduce the viewer to the archaeologist's perspective and to begin to explore the Han scrolls on the Silk Road and the stories behind them. The sand is not only a scene in this gallery, but also the result of long-term weathering and the material's own temporal nature, which serves as a key for the viewer to retrace the past.

Exhibition Area 2

- Legendary River West

This second exhibition hall focuses on the historical process of the Hexi Corridor, the unique hydrological conditions that determined the fate of the development of the Hexi Corridor through agriculture in the dry northwest region. " and "The Four Counties of Hexi", to retrace the historical process of the Hexi Corridor on the Silk Road and to recreate the people and events of the early Hexi Corridor; to present the two units of "Cultivation and Garrisoning" and "Civil Administration " two units to show the national border policy of cantonment to feed the people and garrison the borders to secure the country; finally, through the "Silk Road in Han" and "East-West Exchange" two units to recount the legend of the Hexi Corridor in the ancient Silk Road The story.

Exhibition Area 3

- Flavours of Long Shang

This exhibition area is based on the life of the border areas of the Han Dynasty, by focusing on the living conditions of the inhabitants at the time to bring visitors into the narrative, in the opening to the residents of the western part of the river "daily life" and "recreational activities" to show the Long Shang style. The exhibition will also show the spiritual beliefs of the people of the border through the ritual documents and end with the Han scrolls in "Medical Care and Respect for the Elderly", to show the vision of the people of Hexi to live in peace and tranquillity. The exhibition will also focus on the life of a family or a person in the Hexi region, through the 'Long Shang family' or 'Chi Shi Fu' day, as the core exhibit.

- Ink legacy on the ground

The fourth gallery focuses on the characters carried by the Han scrolls. The entire chapter follows the development of Chinese characters and the evolution of the art of calligraphy
The charm of different periods of art is revealed.
